Kiwi (the yellow girl) and Angel (the white girl) are young female parakeets and best friends.  They love to spend their days eating and cooing to each other.  While not hand tame they love coming out of their cage. Kiwi likes to hang out with her human foster brother while he works on his computer. 
 
 These are not noisy birds, they are very people-like.  Sometimes they just hum and coo to themselves, making the sweetest little sounds and every once in a while they will have a bit of a screaming match but it lasts for all of a brief moment.  Their sounds are incredibly peaceful and soothing.  They sit just a few feet away from their foster mom's work from home desk and are never a distraction-in fact, they are very calming.  They tend to join in if someone in the house is making noise, running water or cooking, they will sing more than when it is quiet. 
 
 They do silly things like, one will sit on her perch while the other will hang from underneath the same perch and they will preen each other.   
 
 Kiwi and Angel's PBFD and Chlamydia pscittai testing is negative. They will be adopted with her cage, disease test results, toys and food to get her forever home started.  

 Kiwi and Angel are being fostered in Morristown, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance, we do not ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA - we do not have a central location. As Kiwi and Angel are living in a volunteer's home, we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
