Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue www.cairnrescue.comCharming, beautiful, little love bug. BUT absolutely no other pets and she needs a terrier-savvy owner with previous experience. This little lady is a terrific walking companion. She can keep pace at 2.7 to 3 miles per hour for at least 1.5 miles and probably longer. She does not jerk you, she is not interested in other dogs on her walks, she just chugs along - stopping to sniff or pee only occasionally. She will bond with her person quickly and is probably best with a single woman. Might be okay with a gentle-energy male in the house - but she spent her first 8 years with a single woman and never had to share anything - person, food, or toys. This little girl will be devoted to you, want to sleep on the bed with you, lay quietly on the sofa while you read - and then jump up suddenly and start barking at something out the window - SHE IS A CAIRN TERRIER, after all, and don't we just love them and all their little terrier ways.FOR LOTS MORE INFORMATION ON LADYMCGUIRE ENTER OR COPY THIS LINK ONTO YOUR WEB BROWSER: Lady McGuire is being fostered in Tulsa, OK in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!LEARN OUR "ADOPTION FAQS": Any questions that you may have about our adoption process, fees, transporting a dog, and our policy not to adopt to families with small children, can be answered at our main website or going directly to this link: IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU READ THE FAQ'S BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
