Charlie is a a beautiful one year old girl that we mostly would describe as Semi-Feral. When she came to us she would hide 24/7 and was very hissy and wanted nothing to do with humans. With time and lots of patience she has made tremendous strides with us. She allows myself and teenage children to pet her but only under special circumstances. We have the best luck when she is relaxing or mid-nap. Although she spooks easily so we keep the interactions short and sweet. Playing with toys and cat nip is by far her favorite thing to do and she will interact closely with you if you are willing to play with her. She follows me around the house and I believe now she enjoys humans company, just as long as we don't approach her. Charlie loves all other cats, and even plays gently with little kittens. We feel as though Charlie would be happiest as an outdoor/barn cat with AAVAs Field Feline program.
