Eleanor Rigby is a ~2yo female Crested Canary. She was inititially found outside and after an exhaustive search to find her original owner she came to For the Love of Birds.Crested Canaries have a silly looking crown, almost resembling a bowl cut reminicent of The Beatles.Eleanor Rigby is a happy girl who loves playing with toys. She makes for a fantastic hands-off companion. Eleanor Rigby is on a diet of canary specific food and is offered leafy greens and broccoli. She takes a hilarious bath in her water bowl every morning and makes the sweetest "meep"-like sounds. Eleanor Rigby is being fostered in Bloomfield, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within easy driving distance. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated private foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA, we do not have a central location. As our adoptable birds are living in our volunteers' homes, only approved applicants are allowed visit.
