Meet Xalapa!

Sweet Xalapa was adopted from the Arlington shelter as a puppy and was recently dumped back there when they moved, she was scared and alone. The shelter put out a plea and her foster mom knew she had to help her find a new home!

Xalapa is a spayed female Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix that is 6 and 1/2 years old and weighs 14 and 1/2 pounds.

This beautiful Chi/JRT girl has excellent manners and is crate and house trained.

She's full of happiness and loves to run and play. She is not overly hyper and definitely loves a lap to lay on, but would also love a home that enjoys exercise!

She would make a wonderful walking buddy and is great on a leash. She is dog-friendly and kid-friendly, affectionate, and all around just a good girl.

Xalapa is looking for a home where she will be loved as a family member forever.

She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, Heartworm Negative and Micro- Chipped.

If you think this sweet girl might belong at your place, please complete an application on our website and her foster mom will be in touch.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
