Description:
Bunny was guessed to be born around July 14, 2012, and weighs about 10 pounds.  Bunny and her sister Kitty were surrendered to Joyful because their owner could no longer care for them. Bunny is an adorable chia who is slightly shy at first but warms up quickly and becomes your shadow.  Bunny LOVES to snuggle up in a blanket next to you on the couch and watch the newest movie or snooze while you read a good book. We were told that both dogs are pretty good with housetraining but these small dogs often times benefit from having potty pads as their bladders just can not hold that much liquid.    Bunny is fine with other dogs and we are told she has lived with cats.   Older, respectful, children are fine but grabby, screaming, young, children will be scary for her as they are for us! Bunny does fine in the car and walks great on a leash.  We had a dental done on her but we like to warn that small breed dogs oftentimes need ongoing dental care.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $300.00.

Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general, our fees include spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccines, Home Again microchipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.

Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.

YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES

We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
