In shelter Bird

Hightstown, Mercer County, New Jersey...
Pet name:
Olive is a lovely suspected young, female Cockatiel that found the right people while on a walk outside. The kind folks who found Olive attempted to find her owners with no success. She then came into the Rescue where she opened up immediately.  Olive is a very good flyer and will fly to her foster family when she wants their attention. She loves to join them during mealtime nibbling on their veggies. She loves to nuzzle her head against your neck for head scratches.  If you try to move her, she gives a gentle bite. She is not alarmed by the three small humans in the house. She does NOT enjoy her nosey dog friends. She was interested in the foster parakeet in the foster home so may do well with other birds to chat.
Being that Olive is a very experienced flyer, great care must be exercised when doors and windows are open. Olive has been disease tested for PBFD and Chlamydia with negative results. She is being loved in Jefferson Township, NJ as she awaits her forever home, and will only be adopted to a home within driving distance; we do not ship our adoptable birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster home throughout NJ and Eastern PA, we have no central location. As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds. If interested in meeting Baby please review our adoption policies and complete an adoption application on our website

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
