Blackie Blackie is a young adult male who is too shy to be adopted as a family pet. His foster mom is helping to find a shop, warehouse, or even a home where he could have a job as a mouser. After settling in at his foster home, he has decided he prefers the safer life of an indoor cat. Blackie likes  to hide when humans are in his area. The attached pictures are moments he has ventured out in his room during the day. Date of Intake: 12/30/2020 All cats come current on shots for age, they are sterilized, checked for FIV and Feline Leukemia. As of January 2020, we have started to microchip all new intakes. Cats are $80, we also will do two for one adoptions.  Blackie is currently located in foster care. For more information, email us at Online adoption applications available at All applications received are sent a personal confirmation email.  Please note regarding the application to adopt: Personal references, landlord reference and veteranarian references  / vetting history will be checked. All past and current pets must have been or must be up to date on vaccines unless otherwise indicated by your veteranarian. If you use multiple vet clinics, please include them all. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
