Description:
Rooney, came to our rescue thanks to the alertness and quick action of concerned neighbors and several Animal Advocates volunteers. Neighbors noticed Rooney living under a deck, tending to her three kittens. Worried about the family's safety, they contacted our rescue and within just a few hours, the group was rescued and safely set up with a foster.

Now that her kittens are grown, Rooney is searching for her own forever home! She is still adjusting and learning to trust people - but has made great progress.  Her foster family reports that Rooney loves treats and playtime, chasing after balls and wand toys.  Rooney is comfortable around other felines, but has not been observed around dogs or young children.  Rooney would do best in a home with experienced cat owners who will be patient and work with her on socialization.

Rooney has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, fully vaccinated, spayed and healthy. To meet Rooney, visit animaladvocates.net and complete an adoption application.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
