Description:
Sadie was a stray cat living in a colony. She would seek people living in the neighborhood for food. After seeing Sadie get pregnant for the 3rd time in a year, one of the caretakers reached out for help. We were able to catch Sadie and get her into foster just days before she gave birth. Sadie has learned to trust and love humans while in foster care. She has learned to use a litterbox, and even learned to share space with other cats. With slow introductions and patience, Sadie could easily live in a home with another cat. We have learned she really still does not like dogs, and she has not been exposed to children. Sadie is a very sweet cat who purrs all the time and seeks affection and pets. She also loves treats and will come whenever she hears the container. Sadie is a little slow to trust new people, so will need to go to a home that will give her time to adjust to her surroundings. An adoption application is required prior to adopting our cats & dogs.An adoption deposit will not be accepted until adopter has approved application. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free Pet insurance. We are not affiliated with Pet First pet insurance. Adopter needs to sign up for the insurance if they are interested to ensure it goes into effect. Adopter can go to our vet for medical issues which may arise in the first 7 days of adoption. Cats in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.Due to current COVID19 restrictions, meet and greets are unavailable. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
