Beautiful, petite lady looking for loving home!

Io is a loving lady, looking for a family to snuggle with. Io was found as a stray and is adjusting very well to indoor life. She loves to cuddle, and will curl up against you (or on you!) and nap. She loves to be scratched and she is easy to pick up and handle. Her vet said Io is the only cat she's ever met who made air biscuits while getting her nails trimmed! Io has a tiny, raspy meow that she uses to nicely ask for pets and treats. Her favorite toy are fuzzy balls, which she will play fetch with (see her video!). She also loves catnip and wand toys, and has been known to hunt stray flies in her foster home. She is a relaxed girl who would love someone to share her affection with.

Io is FeLV+, so she will need to go to a home where she is the only cat, or where all other cats are also FeLV+.

**Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that is specific to cats that weakens a cat’s immune system. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives—with a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. In the past, cats with FeLV in shelters were euthanized as soon as they were diagnosed. PAWS takes a different stance: we enable FeLV+ cats to live out their lives in loving homes. For more information feel free to check out the FeLV FAQs we have available on our website!**
