Description:
Georgie is a super sweet 12 year-old with the energy and spirit of a younger cat. She is easygoing, cuddly, and loves to be around people as much as possible.

While she was born on the streets, she has spent much of her life living in different people's homes. After disappearing for 3 whole years, she turned up in March of 2020 and she has been living exclusively as an indoor cat since then. She's a smart kitty who has had many adventures throughout her life. We believe she truly has 9 lives!

Georgie is an awesome climber and loves to be up high, so she would thrive in a house that has some vertical spaces that she could access. Overall she is a mellow cat who likes to sunbathe and watch the activity outside the window. She does have short bursts of playful energy and will happily run around the house, chase toys and if her humans are too busy to play, she'll just chase her tail for a bit!

Georgie is terrific with kids, young and old, and she likes to be around people as much as possible. She loves the attention, especially pets on her back and chin! She'll snuggle up with you at night, and if you accidentally shut her out of your room, she'll scratch at the door until you let her in. She strongly prefers to be the only pet in the house, so if you currently do not have a pet, she could be a great fit.

Overall Georgie is in good health and good spirits. She's ready to begin the next chapter of her life with a special person or family!
