Meet our cute little Abra! This miniature mule came to Longmeadow with overgrown hooves and was very fearful of her handlers. With the wonderful assistance of our farrier, Abra has received corrective trimmings since her arrival. Her hooves have come a long way, but will require a shorter trim schedule at this time. With time and patience we have worked towards building a positive relationship with Abra. She can be difficult to catch in a large area, and thus requires patience, a calm demeanor, and an adopter with strong groundwork skills. We believe she will come around with more time and training.Abra will require an adopter with a dry lot, due to her obese condition. While it is possible she will return to a healthy weight, we believe that she will gain weight easily on pasture.Adoption Fee: $350
