If you're interested in adopting any SGSR dog, please read about our Adoption Process and fill out an Adoption Application. Visit our website for more information, including Frequently Asked Questions.    Sasha is around 5 years old and had one previous owner who couldn't care for her anymore.    Loves squirrels, long car rides, bones, tennis balls, hikes, and nice people. Dislikes mean people and not being the center of attention from her carers.    Takes her a bit of time to get used to others (needs to be properly introduced) but is incredibly protective, trainable, and takes commands.    She doesn't NEED a yard but a yard would great to let her stretch her legs. Otherwise, a walk or two a day and maybe throwing the ball around the house will be fine. She's very gentle when catching the ball.    She'd be great for a single owner or couple who can give her lots of attention. She's worth it and will be your best friend and companion. Our adoption process consists of a telephone interview, a call to your veterinarian and a home visit. If you have any questions about the adoption process please contact sgsrescue@gmail.com .

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
