Description:
Meet Misha! Our Vet estimates Misha's age to be Four Years. As you can see Misha has not had the best life up until coming to New Hope Rescue. Misha was Rescued from a high kill shelter where they had been trying to catch/trap her for over two years. Yes, she is smarter than the average Bear. She had three 14 week old puppies with her when she finally got hungry enough to go into a trap. The puppies were in really good shape considering they had been born on the street with only Mama to care for them. Looking at her, it's obvious she gave everything to her babies and was a amazing Mother. Misha is now in Foster Care learning to be loved and getting healthy. She is Heart Worm Positive and has her Heart worm treatment and her Spay scheduled in June. We are doing all we can to get her healthy for her treatment. Her puppies are now in homes of their own and being loved. Now it's Misha's turn. Misha knows how to walk on a leash, she loves car rides and will jump into the vehicle, settle and is quiet for her ride. She is living inside with her foster family which includes other dogs of varying ages and sizes. There have been no fights, although Misha mostly stays to herself and just wants some peace and quiet. She does not have food aggression and eats from the same bowl as the other dogs. She is fully house trained and has had no accidents in the house. She has good house manners and does not jump up on counters. She has not been kid or cat tested, but we believe she will do well. Misha would prefer a quiet home with lots of love and attention for her. We will be taking Misha to the park and other adventures soon and will update her progress. PLEASE READ TO THE END. Included in NHR adoption Fee with all dogs and Puppies: UTD with Vaccines, Micro-Chipped, Spay/Neuter at our Vet included, Treated for internal parasites, Tested for Heart Worms (age appropriate and treated if necessary} and kept UTD with Heart worm prevention. All New Hope Rescues are placed into loving Foster Homes learning socialization and house manners, not a stressful Kennel environment. New Hope Rescue is a 501-C3 Not for Profit, All Volunteer Organization. All Proceeds are going to be used to help other rescue dogs and not to pay salaries. Because we are a small rescue we cannot transport out of our immediate area, however if you would like to arrange transportation we may be able to work with you. WE WILL ONLY CONSIDER HOMES THAT WILL MAKE THEIR DOG(S) A PART OF THE FAMILY. To schedule a Meet and Greet please fill out an application HERE: www.nhrescue.com
