Hound mix UTD, spayed Lucy is about three years old and has tested positive for heartworms but received a ProHeart shot.  She came in as a stray with puppies, and although her puppies have all found homes, Lucy hadn't had much human interaction so she needed time to adjust.  She is very good in her kennel and will now walk on a leash but is still very wary of people.  Although she is still a work in progress, we would love a foster or adopter to bring her home and continue working with her to show love and how to trust.  If you think you can provide a secure, patient home, please submit an application from our website  eastmsanimalrescue.com .     In order to be considered for the adoption process, please fill out the adoption pre-interview form located HERE.
