Hello, my name is Macy. I am a very sweet and smart female Australian Cattle Dog/Lab mix puppy who is quite the looker if I do say so myself. I have the most beautiful marble/brindle coat and mesmerizing copper eyes! I am also a total sweetheart who LOVES people (smaller ones too), other dogs and even those silly meowy things.




My favorite hobbies include moving mom’s socks around the house (which she thinks is adorable), playing with crinkle toys or treat-holding rubber balls, playing tug-o-war, chasing and wrestling with my resident doggie sibling, playing one-way fetch with mom, relaxing in the sun, snuggling on the couch, and doling out the most amazing kisses EVER!!! I love being with my peeps and I am not a fan of being left alone and will cry if you leave me! I really hope my furever home has a doggie companion who will play with and comfort me especially during those times when my people cannot be home with me!



Have I told you how smart I am? Truth be told, my brilliance astounds me…I have learned the house rules quickly and I know what to do when mom says “sit,” “down,” “come,” and “leave it,” as a matter of fact, I even sit and wait for an “OK” before going out the door or eating my meals…how incredible is Macy am I right!?! Mom is teaching me all about “leash pressure” because although I’m a small girl and I don’t pull very hard, I still like to pull on the leash but it’s only because mom has no idea where I’m going so, I must lead the way…I’m sure YOU understand!! Anyway, I am typically a quiet girl who only barks if something alarms me, however, though I don’t mind sleeping in it, if I’m in there during the day I get very sad and will cry and try to push my way out of that cave thing that mom calls a “kennel/crate” so she is TRYING to teach me that it is not my enemy by giving me treats when I go in there and keeping my time in there to a minimum. I think mom is simply failing to remember that I would MUCH rather be with HER. After all, I am not only a member of the family too, but I am an integral part of the family and I think I should be able to be wherever they are...like the leash pulling, I’m sure that YOU understand this too! As for potty training, I do great with breaks every few hours during the day but if I’m left out of that cave at night, I may do my business inside. I am confident that I will grow out of this though with a consistent schedule.



Anyway, I think that’s enough about me for now. Are you ready to welcome a beautiful, super affectionate girl into your life who is always excited to see her people? This puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.

Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee. 
 
Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application.



We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward.

ADOPTION EVENTS:  




Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.

FOSTER CARE: 





All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. NUTRITION: 





Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
