Description:
Foster Update: Joey enjoys her memory foam mattress in her crate and is definitely a lady of leisure! She was nervous at first around loud noises, traffic and people and everything seemed new to her. She is getting braver everyday and is getting used to a busy neighborhood lifestyle. We took her to Wag N Wash to give her a bath and do her nails and she did amazing! She is such a sweet good natured girl! The state of her coat when she was brought into the shelter said it all - her living conditions more resembled a roach's life than a dogs. All she ever wanted was to be loved but she never got that luxury. She was picked up by animal control from the dump she was living in. She is glad that she was rescued from that place and that she has quickly stolen the hearts of every staff member at the shelter, but this isn't enough to save her. She came in covered with fleas, caked in filth with big dreams of making it out into a new home, but after weeks of being trapped, she has lost all hope. Joey is potty trained and is eager to make a family happy. This is all the information we have currently. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
