Pet name:
Labrador Retriever, Mixed
Brown, Chocolate
Athena is a wonderfully loving, affectionate lab mix who loves to play fetch and show off her basic commands.  At just 8 months old, she’s really just a big puppy looking for an experienced owner who will continue to guide her through basic training.  Although she's 65 pounds, Athena still considers herself a lapdog and is ready to be your loyal companion.Athena is already house-trained and crate-trained.  She loves all dogs, kids, and playful environments.  She is searching for a home with another dog who will play with her in the yard to help her channel her energy and keep her busy.  She loves to spend time outdoors playing fetch, exploring the yard, or just relaxing in the sun.Despite her playful personality, Athena gets nervous and barks at new people and unfamiliar noises.  She only takes a few minutes to settle down and get comfortable, and she is hoping for an owner who will help her manage such situations.  Her deep bark may startle people, but Athena shows no aggression and settles down with a few treats and appropriate handling.  She is eager-to-please and highly motivated to follow commands, so continued training should be effective and enjoyable for both her and her new family.Athena is a kind, loving, playful, silly, and athletic dog who can't wait to find her forever home.  Are you ready to meet this adorable dog?Follow us on Facebook for additional updates and sneak peeks of new dogs!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
