Penny (TX) is a 1.5 year old female Labrador Retriever mix rescued in Texas.   Penny is good with people and other dogs.  We were contacted by the shelter making us aware that Penny had been rescued after being attacked by her owner with a Machete.    We agreed to help her and immediately rushed Penny to our veterinary partner where she received urgent  medical care she required.  After some time to recuperate, she will set out on the path to her forever home.  If you are the special person that will love Penny for the rest of her life, please apply www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.

RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
