In shelter Dog

Warrington Township, Pennsylvania, 18976
Pet name:
Labrador Retriever, Mixed
Coat length:
Claire is an amazing and loving 4-5 year old black lab mix who was found with her pups in Mississippi. She has been an amazing foster dog, and she’s looking for her forever home! Claire is generally very well behaved and she has a huge soft spot for people. She is very affectionate and tries to give humans hugs, so it may be best to keep toddlers attended by an adult around her, at least until she has settled in. Likewise, she is a great cuddler, but occasionally finds herself in a mood where she enjoys gently and playfully mouthing on your hand with her pearly white canines.
Overall, Claire’s disposition is super relaxed, and generally does not bark. She has enjoyed playing with dog toys and zoomies around the fenced in yard as she comes out of her shell in her foster home. She has yet to chew on anything not hers and she only uses the potty outside. She’s known to be great with children ages 5 and up. She’s been introduced to other dogs and had always been curious and kind. Claire does enjoy a morning walk, and walks great on a leash, but she spends most of her day curled up on the couch. She has had free run of her foster house for up to 4 hours unattended with no issues or concers. Claire will make a great 4 legged family member!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
