Maria is super sweet, mellow and laid back.  She showed up as a stray and was not claimed.  She LOVES everyone she meets. She's good with other dogs and kids too.  She can climb a 4 foot chain link fence, but since she has settled in here, she hasn't tried to climb out.  One reason Maria was brought in is because she was killing chickens. She was a starving stray, however, and we believe that is why she did it. She showed up very thin and was probably very hungry.  Maria would make a great family pet for someone with acreage or a tall fence.
