NAME:  Bella BREED:  Pit Bull Terrier SEX:  Female COLOR:  Blue/white AGE:   years as of June 2020  WEIGHT:  53.7 lbs   FOSTERED BY:   LOCATED IN:   NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Bella was originally with us in 2014 and was adopted by a wonderful gentleman that took great care of her.  Unfortunately, he developed some health issues and was no longer able to care for Bella and she just came back to us to find her forever home.  She is a sweet and loving girl that wants to please.  Her original bio is below and we will be updating her info as we get to know her again. Bella would probably be best as an only pet.  She can get along with other dogs of similar size but not all.  She lived as an only pet for years and is happiest that way. June 2014:  Bella is a beautiful American Pit Bull Terrier. She is starting to settle in and has been exploring the yard this morning. She is full of spunk and seems very eager and curious about her surroundings. Bella was extremely thin, so everything is about food right now. Good quality food with additional dietary supplements fed in smaller, but more frequent meals, will help take the edge off her feeling so starved. Bella has already learned the watch me and sit commands. She is a very smart girl and I can't wait to see Bella blossom into an even more beautiful bully girl!  If you are interested in adopting please Complete our Adoption Application by copying and pasting the following link into your web browser: http://www.caninecastaways.org/adoption-application MEDICAL INFO: The following has been or will be done for this dog... - Basic Exam by Veterinarian - Spayed or Neutered - Heartworm Tested - Placed on heartworm preventive - Basic Bloodwork - Urinalysis - Microchipped - Intestinal Parasite Exam and medication - Vaccinations - Placed on Flea preventive   This adoption donation helps to cover the vet expenses for this dog including heartworm preventive which is dispensed at the initial vet visit and then goes with the dog at adoption. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
