Description:
I'm `Daisy`, I'm 3 years old, and I am currently homeless. I was found on the side of the road here in the Parish. I was emaciated, loaded with hookworms, and unfortunately had full mammary glands.. someone dumped me like trash after they were done breeding me for my puppies. I was used for profit, but all I want is for someone to love me for who I am. Here are the top 5 things you need to know about me: 1) I want to give you kisses, always. I can kiss you all day if you let me. Really.2) I love to sit on your lap on the couch, especially whilst you pet me. If you stop petting me, I will nuzzle you for more pets. 3) I am 3 years old, but still really love to play and go on walks. 4) I like small people, tall people, men and women.. I love everyone and everything. I don't have a mean bone in my body. 5) If you have other dogs - even better. I get along well with K9 friends, but could be your only baby too if you're open! 6) I CHASE CATS! Sorry but I can't help it! The people here at the shelter have waived my adoption fee to help find my forever home. I am already spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. They are currently treating me for heartworms (not contagious to people or other dogs) - there is no cost to my adopter for this. If you are interested in one of our adoptable pets, please give our shelter a call at 985-809-0183 to ask more questions or schedule an appointment to come in. We have appointments available all day. We are located at 31078 Highway 36 Lacombe, LA 70445.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
