If Nixie were a fruit, why, she'd be a Georgia peach because this little girl is just as sweet as pie. She is roughly 4 years old, 55 pounds of pure, unconditional love. She just wants to be next to her person at all times. One quick look at her adorable pittie belly and you can tell Nixie has clearly mothered multiple litters of puppies. Her little triangle ears sit perched on top of her head in the cutest way imaginable. We don't know exactly what her life was like before finding her way to Partners for Pets, but we know for sure that her days of litter after litter are in the past and she can finally live her life as a loved family pet. Nixie would fit best in a home without cats. She is currently working on her socialization and how to be friends with other dogs, but for right now, she would fit best as an only dog. Her adoption fee is $195, which includes her spay, microchip and up-to-date vaccines! Wont you come meet her at the shelter? She's waiting for you! If you are interested in adopting please go to our website at and fill out an online application. Adoptions are held at the O'Fallon, IL PetSmart every Saturday of the month from 11am-3:30pm and at the Glen Carbon, IL PetSmart every Sunday from 11am-3:30pm. We are also at Petco in Edwardsville Crossing on Sundays from 11:30-3:30 pm. The cats are only at Glen Carbon Petsmart. Please let us know if you are interested in a pet and we can arrange to have them meet you at one of the adoption events.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
