DOG'S DESCRIPTION
Bota is a love bug and came to us as a proud mama of 8 pups. She was a great mother to her babies and its finally time for her to be spoiled! While living in a temporary foster home, she enjoyed playing with her foster dog brother. She loves snuggling and taking naps on the couch. Bota is very affectionate with people that she knows, but can be nervous around new people in the home, so she is looking for a forever home that is patient and can work with her. Due to this nervousness, she can get nippy around new people, so no small children please.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery, rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dogs also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
