Meet Daphne! This solid built mare came to Longmeadow alongside a large group of other horses. Being the youngest within her group, it's clear that she has not had as much time being handled. While she does accept a saddle and rider, she does not understand the bit or bridle. She will halt and back up nicely. She is still learning how to steer and move forward. At this time she will require at least a 60 to 90 day refresher with a professional trainer before being ready for an advanced rider.
