Description:
Hi guys!  I’m MAGGIE (DOB: 07/11/2018), a stunningly beautiful female purebred Blue Point Ragdoll – and I must admit, I’m a rather interesting cat.  I love being petted, purring and making biscuits – but only if I invite the attention!  If you try to pet me and I have not invited that, I will cower and scratch, and that is only part of my many cues when I am about to become “prickly.”  I love attention but do not like to be talked to – and I do not like women.  When my foster mom vacuums my room every day, I roll around on the bed and chirp to be petted.  I will allow combing during this time, but only for a quick minute, so it is a good thing my coat is pretty low maintenance.  I will also approach, sprawl out, and chirp for attention if my foster mom sits on the bed with me and is very still.  When I am sweet, I am very, very sweet.  In time, I could become a cat that would be a sofa buddy.  And I love to sleep on the bed in my room.  I use the litter box 100% of the time, am a neat and clean cat, and am well-behaved in all ways – except with my socialization.  I love to play with toys once the lights go out for the night.  I do not like other cats right now and have been a bit wary of my foster mom’s dog the few times I have seen him – but I do not hate him.  Most of my responses to the things that happen around me are fear followed by growling and scratching.  I am at my happiest when I am allowed to do my own thing and only get attention when I want it.  My new owner needs to be a male who will be patient with me and let me warm up to him.  I need a quiet home with no other cats or children so I can become the princess I so deserve to be!  I am spayed, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and will be microchipped and eligible to receive a 30 day free trial of pet health insurance at the time of my adoption.  My adoption fee is $300.00.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
