Claire was born February 27, 2002 and weighs about 25 lbs. She is a cute little girl that needs a new home because her humans "couldn't spend enough quality time with her". She's been a perfectly healthy girl. She is good on leash and going for rides is fun! We were told she was great with children 6-14 years, but since she can be a bit nippy with strangers we'd like to find her an adult home that is willing to supervise her behavior with any strangers. She has never bitten anyone but has gotten a pant leg or two. Claire is a smarty! She knows to come, stay, sit, lay down and up (her favorite) and she ADORES her toys!!!! Update: Well, Claire has been here over 10 years as there was no other home out there for her that she wouldn't have gotten herself in trouble. Since we are beginning to showcase our sanctuary pets she surely needs to be added to the list! Perhaps they told us the wrong age for her when she arrived or perhaps the old saying goes for Clair "only the good die young". Clair is truly “un-adoptable .” Joyful Rescues remains committed to our Sanctuary Dogs and Cats. They will stay with us for their natural lives and we will care for and love them. We will be their forever family.
We wish we could do it alone but we need your help. We are looking for people who can help us with Clair's care. Please click the link below and donate. Chloe thanks you.
