Description:
Teriyaki is a people lover who always wants the attention of her human friends. She loves getting their petting and belly rubs - and being near them. She also loves it when they massage her floppy ears, and she'll press her nose to them to get more petting. And there's an easy way to win her heart - give her the food she wants! This sweet lady is curious about new people she meets, but she can be shy and nervous unless a trusted person is by her side to introduce them. Once they're acquainted, she enjoys anyone who is gentle and patient with her. She always wants her human friends to guide her on what's safe for her - and what isn't. Now in foster care, her favorite activities are chewing her favorite treats, being a couch potato, snoozing in her bed and going for walks. She enjoys her walks, and being cautious, she walks alongside or behind her walker. She enjoys exploring the world around her as long as her walking partner makes her feel safe. In foster, she's living with a small 3-year-old dog and is getting accustomed to being with dog buddies. She is a house-trained girl who's only had a few accidents, and she free roams the house, feeling safe in what she considers her space and sleeping on her bed with her doggie housemate. This gentle, loving girl hopes for a small home with a backyard and/or parents who can take her outdoors often and can continue her training. She can warm up to other pets, so she could do well with low-energy dog or cat friends. Come meet her. Give her an ear massage and she'll follow you home.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
