Description:
Meet Sage! This gorgeous girl came to us after she was found as a stray with 9 puppies. All of her pups have been adopted and now it is Sage's turn to find a forever home.

Sage is a very affectionate dog. She loves to get pets and scratches more than anything! She is everyone's friend and attaches herself quickly to anyone who shows her kindness. She'll put her paw on you to ask for pets and enjoys a good brushing any time of the day.

Sage is good with children but we'd like to see her with kids over 8 years old. She needs a home with a yard. She is still young and has plenty of energy for walks and playtime.

Sage is good with other dogs but needs a slow introduction. As is common for shepherds, she can be a reactive on the leash. She just completed a 3 week board and train program to help improve this issue and she has done amazingly well. With a committed owner, she will be able to keep up her newly learned skills.

She is a gem and whoever adopts her will be so lucky to have this sweet girl in their life.

Sage is vaccinated and chipped and will be spayed in a month or two (it is too early to spay her so soon after weaning her puppies).

Sage's adoption fee is $395. Applications can be submitted via savinggreatanimals.org

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
