"Our children grew up with foster or rescue kittens and dogs.  Now they are grown and they have rescue animals in their homes.  We are the lucky pet parents of three rescue dogs and one rescue cat.  We couldn’t imagine our home without all of them.  We dedicate this transport to our grandchildren, Nora, Xander and Jaxon.  They love animals and we hope when they grow up, they will bring rescues into their homes. Nora is a huge Ariana Grande fan.  Xander and Jaxon, are big Paw Patrol fans.  Hence, the name of our transport, The Grande Paw Patrol.  Joyful Rescues lives the motto of Paw Patrol, “No transport too big, no pup too small……………. they are there for the rescue!”  It is our honor to assist in their mission."  Deb Winslow-Schaber & Pete Schaber
Zuma was born around April 28, 2019 and weighs about 60 pounds.  Rozina, Sky, and Zuma were all taken off a property in West Virginia that had been abandoned by her elderly caretaker.   Zuma is a very sweet girl that has no idea what it's like to be a cherished family member.  She has a relaxed demeanor and enjoys being pet and then is happy to hang nearby and observe you.  She is on the quiet side which we love.  Zuma cannot be crated as she panics and with her relaxed behavior there should be no need to have to crate her.  Oh, also, we call her "Coyote"....guess we don't need to explain.  We told these three precious girls that life is going to be amazing from here on out and there is an amazing home waiting for them.  Is it your home? 
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $450.00
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. 
 
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.   YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
 
 We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
