We're happy to report that she's been with our rescue now for a month and her UTI is cleared up, her bloodwork is perfect and she's only had one mild seizure. She hasn't required any anti-seizure medication. 

Nikki is 9 years young and just wonderful! She's housebroken, not destructive in the house, loves other dogs and is even...cat friendly. All she really asks for is to lay on the chair or sofa and for a spot on your bed. She likes a quiet home where she can be a companion and has lots of love to offer. Nikki doesn't seem to know what stairs are so a home for her that doesn't have them is ideal. She also prefers to walk on rugs or carpets so if you have hardwoods she'll likely need throw rugs. She likes to be near humans so a home where she won't be left for long periods of time is great. A fence would be nice, but not a requirement if you'll walk her on a leash. She can be vocal at times.

Nikki is spayed, current on her vaccines and heartworm negative. Her adoption area is NJ to GA.

www.huskyrescueteam.org ~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
