Crystal has been with us for a very long time. She does not like to be picked up and held at all but she does not mind having some back and head rubs from her caretakers at our shelter. She purrs and rubs on you if you show love and are gentle with her.  She needs plenty of time to adjust to change and to people she does not know. She is not a bad kitty, she has never been aggressive with anyone, she is only very timid and skittish but we promise that she does have an affectionate side that we have seen, she just needs to be given that chance.
