Please contact Jeff Tarpley ( for more information about this pet.Merry is a female black with white mix breed. She is about 2 years old and she weighs 45 pounds. Merry is spayed and vaccinated including rabies. She tested heartworm positive and is undergoing the slow-kill method of treatment using heartworm prevention medication. Merry received a Proheart 12 shot and a round of doxycycline. She tested negative for tick-borne diseases and intestinal parasites. Merry is ready for adoption. Merry was originally taken in by a other rescue as an older pup with a broken jaw. We do not know what caused the scarring on her head. That rescue closed and Merry came to us in the late fall of 2020. Merry has the sweetest temperament ever. She loves to run and play with anyone. Merry likes people and other dogs. Merry needs a fenced yard to get her exercise. However Merry will make anything into a toy if left in the yard alone for long. She has good personal space manners and is potty and crate trained, so she can be crated happily when unsupervised. Merry is seeking a home where she will have someone to play with. Adoption fee is $150. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
