She doesn't have any torti-tude. She gets along great with other cats. We haven't seen her hiss once. She's sweet and friendly with people too. She likes to sleep in your bed and she loves attention. Jade is playful and very smart.

Jade is a special needs kitty. When she was 11 months old, she was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. With a low carb diets and twice daily insulin, she can live a happy, healthy life. She'll most likely need insulin for the rest of her life. There are many inexpensive wet foods that are low carb, like Fancy Feast or Friskies. It doesn't have to be an expensive veterinary food. She's currently on Lantus insulin. Her bottle of Lantus and her glucometer go with her when she gets adopted. Our founder can help teach you how to manage kitty diabetes and can provide support as well. There's also a great Feline Diabetes network online available 24/7.

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.
