Description:
Lily! Super cute 7 year old mixed breed. She lived with her family for her whole life and they surrendered her due to having issues with other animals (namely small dogs). They also said she can growl at people when walking by her on the couch. She has potential to be a resource guarder but that has been difficult to asses in shelter. Her new family should not allow her on the couch to simply eliminate that as a source of conflict with her family. She also is looking for a home where she is the only pet. She might be ok with bigger sized dogs but we suggest taking intros slow and not having toys or food around. She is still active and playful at times but does relax too. She can be a bit jumpy and enjoys playing with toys. She can be a bit hard on the leash and easily distracted, so training classes with her new family will only help build a strong bond and foundation for her moving forward. She is housetraind and will likely be good with children, we do suggest older kids.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
