Meet Kanin!

This handsome guy is looking for his forever home! He is a 3 and a half year old Giant breed.

He was originally adopted out by us when he was a puppy, but now he is back with us due to a housing change. His momma was a huge American Bulldog/Mastiff mix and we were told that his dad was the neighbor’s German Shepherd Dog. His vet records say that he is a Bullmastiff mix and we can see some Great Dane (also from the mastiff family) in his profile. Whatever he is, he is a big, goofy pup who weighs 113 pounds right now.

He gets along well with other dogs and with kids, but has not been around cats so far. He will need a home who loves BIG dogs and who loves his happy go lucky attitude. He is housetrained and crate trained and rides well in the car.

All our dogs are tested for heartworms, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and flea prevention.

Cats are tested for FLV/FIV when age appropriate, as kittens tested at an age less than 16 weeks tends to lead to unreliable results.  All our cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and flea prevention.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
