Billy is a smaller bully breed mix who we believe to be around 3 years old. We got him from a shelter in Texas days before he was scheduled to be euthanized. He was surrendered by his previous owners due to his intense thunderstorm anxiety. Which was completely understandable once we realized these owners kept him outside 24/7. 
   Now that Billy has been under our care we have medication we give him to calm his anxiety in the event of a storm or high stress activity. He really seems to be okay as long as he has a human to comfort him or somewhere safe to go when he gets scared.  
  Billy came to us heart worm positive, unaltered, underweight and with all sorts of bruises/scrapes from living outside. These problems did not effect this sweet boy's happy attitude towards anybody and everybody he meets! This includes small children. After being brought into foster he was quickly introduced to multiple small children, ages 1 to 8 and enjoyed every minute of it. 
   This handsome boy has shown to be mostly dog friendly but needs a good introduction before he can be friends. His best friends right now are a 3 year old, submissive male Pitbull and a 7 year old female Chihuahua.  He seems to prefer smaller dogs in most cases. He has also met one cat and didn't seem to pay any attention to her.
   Billy loves stuffed toys, lots of snacks and would do anything to get a tennis ball thrown for him! He can be energetic like any 3yr old but at the end of the day, he is very happy snuggling with anybody willing to let him lay nice and close to them with a comfy blanket. He is a very loyal boy who needs a home where he rarely has to be left home alone.
