Adoption Fee $400 plus taxThis is Raymond- with his coat of many colors!  He is a beautiful boy with actual eyelashes - yes, eyelashes!!! you have to see them to believe it!

He loves to play with other dogs  and currently lives with 3 other dogs.  He would be fine as a solo pet or with other dogs.

He's  " interested "  in cats and other critters but we're not sure how he would be with them in the home.   He definitely notices them while outside.

He's also unsure about new people but once he checks you out and if he gives his sniff of approval, it's go time!

He does get spooked easily so it's important to move slow until he gets to know you.  He is not a huge fan of loud people and quick gestures. He is a herding breed so small children might not be a good fit.   (speak with an adoption coordinator if you have questions about herding breeds).

He takes awhile to to open up, but this guy is  very loyal and doesn't want to miss out on the action- so once he trusts you, he will follow you everywhere!

He likes naps and also doesn't seem to mind his kennel.

He is still learning that outside only for potties. He is getting much better at it.

Raymond is a silly boy that will lean into you and spin in circles for endless butt scratches  (and probably trying to get the belly band off!)  . He does well on a leash and loves walks!

Overall a good dog and a happy little dude.

Note: possibly allergic to hand sanitizer / alcohol?  He seems to get a fit of sneezes if he's around it.

*The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
