Cane-Sweet Senior-Special Needs
LOOKING FOR A SPECIAL ANGEL Hi, my name is Cane and I am very sad and a little confused right now. My mama moved to heaven and I am in a strange place that is all new to me. You see, I can hardly see, and I can't hear well and my mama is not here with me. Yes I am a special needs boy looking for an earth angel to take me in. A loving lap to sit on is all that I need, to help me feel safe again. I need to sleep in bed with my person for my security. I can hold it all night .I  am an 11 year old chihuahua mix ,weighing in at about 14lbs, and looking for someone who will love and care for me and the special needs that I have.  I am in a  hospice stage. I am not neutered and at this stage in my life, they say it would be too risky.   The cost for the meds I am on is $50 a month. I am sorry, but I can't get  a job. I am potty trained, crate trained, and a loving little guy. I do get along with children, but am looking for a quiet home with out a lot of changes going on.I am perfect with cats. I live with one now. Small dogs are ok, but only one other one in the home would be best for me.  I don't like larger dogs. Less animals suits me fine.Of course I have aged a lot, since I last had an attitude with them.   I just need to feel safe and loved again! Please Note: Cane has congestive heart failure, a heart murmur, blind in one eye with poor vision in the other, and is deaf. I have a 4 out of 6 heart murmur. Lasix and Enlapril, for my congestive heart failure will cost at least $50 a month.   If you think you can give Cane that home that will let him peacefully live out his final time on earth, please fill out an online application.  If interested, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here: adoption application For anyone viewing this on Petfinder, if you are interested in adopting this animal you will need to go to our website to fill out the online adoption application. You can usually find more pictures of the animals there too. Click on our name "Roses Rescue" in blue above to be taken directly to our website.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
