This happy, handsome fella is Chavo!  He's a 6 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who weighs in at about 15 pounds.  You will need to put forth a little extra effort in earning his trust and love - but he's well worth it!  Treats and toys are a sure way to win over his heart!  Multiple adoption meetings might be necessary for potential adopters, however Chavo's shelter friends and foster family won him over pretty quickly.  Once he trusts you, he is a super friendly and cuddly guy!!  

Chavo gets along great with his foster sibling - a dog who is just slightly smaller than him.  His favorite activities include playing with his toys and cuddling with his person.  He's a silly boy, sure to make you smile each day!

A home with few visitors would be best for Chavo and he asks that you put him in his own safe space if strangers (to him) come to visit.  He also needs a home with no children under the age of 12 years old.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
