As with anyone who gets old I'm dealing with a few medical issues but nothing that we can't deal with together.  I will need to be on a special food (SO) for bladder stones. I have some issues going on with my back but, other than wobbly back legs, it really doesn't slow me down. I can chase away all the critters that come near the backyard. I enjoy being a mighty hunter. Those squirrels go flying when I chase them but, so far I haven't been able to climb the trees after them. I love to run around the yard with my foster fur buddies. I really love the doggy door so I can go in and out. When I come in I love to get lots of attention and petting. I love to curl up in my foster mom's lap and have her tell me how handsome I am and that I'm her sweetheart. She tells me that a special family will be lucky to have me join their family.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!
