Yogi, the black with tan, is 5 years old and he weighs 25 pounds. Pepper, the dapple, is 6 years old and weighs 18 pounds. Both boys are neutered and vaccinated including rabies. They tested heartworm negative and are receiving monthly heartworm prevention. This handsome pair is ready for adoption. Yogi and Pepper were owner surrendered to a small central Arkansas shelter when the owner couldn’t care for them anymore. This pair are the smartest fellas we have met! Yogi and Pepper were a little nervous at first and needed routine and reassurance. But boy have they learned the ropes quickly. It is obvious they have been loved and taught good manners. Yogi and Pepper mind very well. They are affectionate and playful, and food-driven like most dachshunds! They walk on a leash, though they do pull a little. Yogi and Pepper are bonded and must be adopted together. They are waiting to transform someone’s life! Adoption fee is $450. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
