This remarkable young dog came to us from a shelter.  His history is a mystery but to his adopting family, he will be a blessing. Fenway (aka Fen) has a lot of puppy left in him so he’s an active little fellow. He’s sharp as a tack and determined to please his mom or pop, he actually appears to study his person. He’s very curious and did I say SMART?? He likes to toss and run for his stuffed toy but will not willingly share so take care if playing a game of tug with him or if another dog decides to play along. Fenway would prefer a being an only dog or at least a young playful companion might work. He’s good on car rides and walks fairly well on a leash. He likes the big bed but will sleep on the couch. And he loves to cuddle on the couch anytime day or night. Housebroken and knows the doggie doors. Fen’s waiting to meet you!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!
