Description:
Meet Bagheera and you will have met the love of your life! This sweet boy is all black with a white crest on his chest and is approximately 2 years old. He is named for the gentle jaguar character in Jungle Book, who was a friend, protector, and mentor. His name suits him perfectly.Bagheera was found as a stray. A Good Samaritan fed him with the neighborhood strays for months until one day he showed up limping. He limped for quite some time and the Good Samaritan brought him to us. When he came to us he was very thin and was not able to put any weight on his front left leg. Our vet believes he experienced some trauma as his top canine tooth was also broken. Bagheera is all better now - he is walking fine and has put on some weight.Bagheera is a total love bug! He loves to be held, cuddled and loves attention - what a sweet boy he is! He currently does not seem to like other cats, but we believe this will change once he learns to trust them. He has been on his own for awhile, fending for himself for food, etc. He is learning to get along with kittens and that is the first step. We are guessing someone had moved and abandoned him. Their loss is your gain. You will not forget this sweetheart once you meet him.Bagheera is dewormed, neutered, has received his rabies and FVRCP vaccines, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration (no more paying for registration every year!) FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
