Dumbo is a sweet, affectionate, quirky boy looking to get out of the circus and into a home with you! He will immediately open up to anyone giving him pets and treats, and start purring. He loves to be petted and carried around the house and would give kisses as a reward. He also loves watching birds makes biscuits and has the sweetest purr!

Once Dumbo is feeling more at home, he does have a penchant for rambunctious play. He uses his front paws to gently nudge you and ask for play time. He would do well in a home with an experienced owner who has time to work off some of his energy and is good at reading a cat's body language. Because of that, he shouldn't live in a home with young children, but he's done well with cat-friendly dogs and super social, playful cats after having some time for all the animals to adjust to each other!

Dumbo is almost finished being treated for an aural hematoma ("cauliflower ear"), which once healed will leave a crinkle in his adorable right ear. It would just require monitoring and yearly vet checks to make sure he's healthy and no recurring issues arise once he gets older.

Age: 2-4 years old

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
