They call me CHOWDER.  I lost my home because my human got too old to be able to care for me.  No family members wanted me, so I was dumped at a kill-shelter.  Luckily I was rescued – and now I have a second chance at love .. and a home that’s forever this time.  I am a cautious kitty, not shy, just not sure who to trust.  I've done okay in my foster home, but still won't let my foster mom kiss me.  I'm not aggressive, just withdrawn.  Sad.  I’m looking for a calmer, quieter, smaller home (apartment?) with no kids under 10.  Ever.  They’re just too fast and loud.  I lived with other cats before and need another easygoing male cat to lay around in the sunshine with, take naps in the middle of the floor, etc.  Guy things.  I'm looking for a soft-spoken experienced cat-person who is kind and patient.  In the right home I can be quite cuddly!  I am available to do a foster-to-adopt.

 

**  CHOWDER is estimated to be 2.  He is neutered, vaccinated, FIV-FeLeuk tested, dewormed, and microchipped.  Chowder is currently enjoying a well-deserved cage break in a foster home, but we can arrange a meet-and-greet!
