Kodiak and Willa came to us after his owner passed away and the extended family could not care for them.  We would love to keep them together if possible.

Kodiak is approx 52 lbs and 5-7 years and a very, very sweet boy who loves to give kisses! This handsome fella is special needs though and will need a committed forever home to manage those needs.  After arriving it became apparent that Kodiak was having trouble walking.  Xrays and a CT has been preformed showing he has arthritis of the spine and possible disc problems.  His forever family will need to be committed to help manage the condition.

Kodiak may not have had much socialization with other dogs as he is not sure how to interact with other dogs in the foster home just yet.  So, if there is a current dog in the home he/she will require a meet, and it must be a LARGE dog.  NO SMALL DOGS, CATS or SMALL ANIMALS for Kodiak as he has a huge prey drive.  Kodiak is good with kids, and a home with a fenced in yard would be ideal for him. NO apartments/townhomes/condos as he is quite vocal and also will not do well with stairs and his condition.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
