Hello everyone! My name is Nico and I am a big, beautiful 65+ lb. boy. I am estimated to be about 1.5 years old and I still have lots of puppy energy! I came into Freedom a couple of weeks ago a little underweight. My foster mama has been working hard to fatten me up. I just loooove to eat, so it hasn't been very hard. I live in a foster home with other dogs and I am always down for an awesome play sesh! I do have human foster siblings, but they are not so little anymore. I just get so excited sometimes, and am a bit of a clutz with this huge body, so I might accidentally knock over the little ones. I did get to meet a cat the other day, too! He was pretty cool, but I didn't really care about him too much. He ran up the stairs after a while and I just ignored him. Foster mama said that's a good thing, because I can go to a home with cats! I am still young and energetic and would love an active home or a playful fur sibling! I am crate and potty trained, but I do still need some training on my manners. If you think you can offer me my furever home, please reach out to your adoption coordinator. If you do not yet have an adoption coordinator, please complete an adoption application at I am being fostered near Raleigh, NC. *Our volunteers process applications as quickly as they can, however it can take a little time. For this reason, the specific dog you apply for may not be available by the time your application is processed. If that happens we will do our best to find another perfect match for your family.*

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
